{parlez vous francis}

You don’t have to speak French to understand that the Parisian boutique, Colette is coming to NYC! However I won’t be one of those fools standing in line waiting for the doors to open, like some. Ju-kno what I’m sayin main? It’s a frenzy, who can forget the televised lines at H&M (the collaborations with Viktor and Rolf or Madge, Karl, Rob (short for Cavalli, did I really have to let ya’ll know?). Any who, if you’ve never been to Colette in Paris (located on the historic/fashionable rue Saint Honore) then get your wallets ready. Expect to see designer collaborations with: Oakley sunglasses, Hello Kitty, Asics’s Tiger sneakers, etc.. So, with that said you can now enjoy the pop up shop located in Gap’s rotating concept store adjacent to 54th and 5th Ave, come September 6th – October 5th. Locals, be prepared for the mob of Bermuda shorts and tube sock tourists. And tourists just don’t act like such.

{are you ready for fall}
Fall is just around the corner and at times I get excited, but honestly not so much. I am just tired of those swampy sweaty days, but then when the temperatures drop I am wishing it was hot again – libra in me. Well the truth is Fall is coming. What gets me really amped about the weather change is the FW08 from Rodarte. Um (cough cough) it is DELIOUS (well I say DEE-LEE-CEE-OH-SO)!!! I have been eyeing a few pieces hoping to grab a few… Ok, more than a few. I know you fashion groupies know what I am talking about. OH, let’s not forget the teetering Christian Louboutin’s they used as well. The gothic rock heel has me salivating. However, I am not stable enough to walk in 5” heels. Oh, and when I say stable, I am mean mentally.

{going all the way}
It's my first time. I am feeling excited, confused, exposed, but ready to explore. Get your minds outta the gutter! I am talking about the world of blogging!!! It's my first time BLOGGING! I am feeling like how my 85 year old landlord must have felt when she first got cable television. There are too many tabs and things to do with the setting up, the display, etc. However, I am ready to explore the endless ideas of what to blog about, just as Josephine was excited about the possibility of finding a cable show with Dean Martin in it. Anyhow, I cant wait to share my interests with you all. LOL, as I write this I am wondering “who the hell will read this”???
